Following a grand British tradition of writing and playing epic rock tunes, Yorkshire’s Naked Six met at school and when they got the chance to form a band, grabbed it with both hands.
The band produce their own brand of 21st Century rock n’ roll and describe themselves as alternative rock/grunge/schizoid blues with a bit of the punk attitude of the 70s thrown in.
Since forming they’ve delivered high-octane, electrifying performances at shows up and down the country at venues such as The Old Blue Last, The Fiddler’s Elbow and The Odd Bar in Manchester.
With regular plays on BBC Introducing showcasing their powerhouse songs and compelling lyrics, Naked Six are making a real name for themselves and come to OnBlackheath at the best possible time for our ticket holders, on the crest of a wave running from backstreet pub gigs to major festivals.
“One of the most exciting pure rock bands to come out of Yorkshire in the last decade. Without doubt insane talents,” said Soundsphere Magazine of the group.
