THE FAMILY PLAYGROUND
Our younger visitors are just as important to ONBlackheath as the grown-ups, and we always make sure there is plenty of family entertainment – 2018 is no different!
Kids are sure to have a great weekend with us with some CBeebies stars appearing in the flesh, masters of hilarity Boppin’ Bunnies, London’s own Let’s All Dance group and the troupe of entertainers The Flying Seagulls all confirmed, with many more acts to come.
TIME TO PLAY
CBeebies legends Sid and Rebecca, stars of new show It’s Time to Play, are coming to ONBlackheath where they’ll perform and meet their young fans on Saturday. Come and meet these TV stars in person!
LET’S ALL DANCE
Let’s All Dance will be bringing their love of movement and music to The Family Playground. Dedicated to spreading the joy of dance to communities across London, they’ll be bringing two shows to the festival, The Teddy Bears Picnic (for 0-7 year olds) and The Princess and the Frog (for all the family).
THE FLYING SEAGULL PROJECT
The Flying Seagulls have been regular and hugely popular visitors to ONBlackheath. This travelling band of comedy specialists have plenty of tricks up their sleeves and spread love and mirth around hospitals, orphanages and anywhere else where a smile is needed. They have a track record of proving that laughter really is the best medicine for everyone from toddlers up to grandmothers.
Experts at helping the under-fives develop a love of music, Boppin’ Bunnies are well known across South East London and beyond for their engaging, magical classes. Their sessions will be a great chance to get your baby or toddler boppin’ along.
DEVA KIDS YOGA
Yoga isn’t just for the adults, and thanks to Deva Yoga your little ‘uns can experience the relaxing and energising power to set them up for a day of throwing themselves into everything ONBlackheath has to offer.
Throughout the weekend we’ll have plenty for kids to enjoy and get involved in including storytelling, circus skills, the Shipwreck Playground, Big Art, Munchkin Sports and Pop Bingo.
